GREAT ESCAPE AT WHITE HART 2008 Matthew the Magician performs his straitjacket escape before an appreciative audience during Closing Weekend at White Hart 2008. To make it more difficult, the weather was both hot and humid that day -- so the jacket tended to cling to his damp Ren garb as he struggled to free himself.

COURTLY DANCING AT WHITE HART 2008, PART ONE Lady Rhiannon, one of the members of Ryleh's extended family "The Ides of March," joins the Courtly dancing on Saturday of Closing Weekend 2008. Even the heat and humidity of Missouri in July couldn't dampen her enthusiasm!

COURTLY DANCING AT WHITE HART 2008, PART TWO With Lady Catherine (the Mistress of Dance) calling the steps, our own Lady Rhiannon enthusiastically joins during the Court Dancing on Saturday of Closing Weekend at White Hart 2008.

COURTLY DANCING AT WHITE HART 2008, PART THREE The "Carabushka" is one of the more popular dances much favored for Courtly Dancing at White Hart 2008. While Lady Rhiannon dances with one of the cavaliers of Queen Elizabeth's Court, her boyfriend's mother (Lady Mary in butternut gray and gold) steps out with a rogue. As always, the good musicians of "Queen's Gambit" provided the music.

COURTLY DANCING AT WHITE HART 2008, PART FOUR Lady Rhiannon finally gets her wish: dancing the "Carabushka" with her Rennish boyfriend, Matt! In this final dance of the 2008 faire season at White Hart, both Queen Elizabeth and Lady Mary, Matt's mother, joined in with Lady Catherine calling the steps. It was, indeed, a rousing finish for a great, little faire!

HOT BOFFERSWORD ACTION AT WHITE HART 2008 Tom Foolery and company set up a boffersword booth on Closing Weekend at the White Hart Renaissance Festival 2008. It was extremely popular, especially with the preteen set. Not all were male, however: watch for the young lass in red. She will definitely be a swordswoman by the time she's 18!

FAREWELL AND GODSPEED AT WHITE HART 2008 Lady Rhiannon caught the action as Queen Elizabeth, Her Court and the entire cast and krewe of the White Hart Renaissance Festival gathered at the Main Gate to wish a hearty "Farewell and Godspeed!" to all the patrons at the end of the faire day.
