RAKU POTTERY DEMONSTRATION AT WHITE HART 2008 The master potters of Corvus Moon Pottery demonstrated the fine art of raku pottery during the White Hart Renaissance Festival in 2008. Watch as the straw bursts into flame as each piece is set out in the final stage of this ancient craft. From the blazing inferno of their kiln to the final quenching and cleaning of their pieces was truly a most wond'rous spectacle to behold!

MATTHEW THE MAGICIAN AT WHITE HART 2008 Valiantly trying to set his face afire for the amusement of his audience, Matthew the Magician jockeys for position against a stiff north wind blowing across the stage. He failed in that, alas -- but did manage to briefly set his tongue afire, then transfer the flame to his unlit torch. TADA!

HAMLET ON WRY AT WHITE HART 2008 The Lord Mayor's Company (plus two escapees from Sesame Street) dice, slice and spiral cut Hamlet into an uproarious 30-minute onstage romp: the Bard would've been SO proud! This scene includes the "play within a play" designed to capture the conscience of the King and ends with the death of Polonius, hiding within the Queen's closet. We WONT go there!!!

LORD MAYOR'S COMPANY AT WHITE HART 2008 The ladies of "The Lord Mayor's Company" sing the theme song to their play, "A Midsummer's Night Mare" proving, once again, that "The Lord Mayor's Company" is certainly NOT a musical act. Any resemblance to the theme song of a tv sitcom involving castaways stranded on a desert isle are purely coincidence, believe me!

THESPIAN DIES ONSTAGE AT WHITE HART 2008 Our own Lady Rhiannon plays the "innocent" in "The Lord Mayor's Company" version of "A Midsummer's Night Mare" -- with predictable results. Note the flying body parts, rubber chicken as she dramatically dies onstage!

QUEEN'S DANCE AT WHITE HART 2008 Players and patrons dance the "Carabushka" during the Queen's Dance at the White Hart Renaissance Faire 2008. The musicians started out slowly enough, but then they picked up the pace until the dancers were spinning and whirling furiously. What fun!

"LAST HUZZAH!" AT WHITE HART 2008 Tom Foolery and his mates dance merrily at "The Last Huzzah!" with "Queen's Gambit" playing in the background. "The Last Huzzah!" is the final show of the day at White Hart, where all the various musicians and entertainers take a brief turn onstage in farewell.
