"GOIN' TO THE CHAPEL AND GOIN' TO GET MARRIED!" TRF-STYLE 2011 -- 00:43
The Texas Renaissance Festival hosts numerous Renaissance weddings during its' regular season: 2011 was no exception! The packages range from simple to elaborate, depending on the couples' desires (and finances). Here the bride rides in the Royal Carriage on her way to TRF's Wedding Chapel, accompanied by Their Royal Majesties, the Cardinal, the Royal Guard and numerous other cast members for a truly memorable Wedding Day!
NOON PARADE at TRF 2011 -- 05:06 Due to the sheer size -- 50 acres! -- of the Texas Renaissance Festival, it's not always possible to see and do everything, even in a long weekend. The traditional Noon Parade at TRF is one quick way for patrons to see most of the cast, performers and vendors live and in action -- even if they are often just marching down the lane!
CHAINMAILLE REVUE AT TRF 2011 -- 04:06 The sheer variety of Lord Randolph's Chainmaille Revue at TRF 2011 is showed here in a series of clips featuring Lord Randolph's chainmail creations. All of the dancers are volunteers: many of them actually own the chainmail pieces they display during the revue. The dancers' skills vary considerably, but it's all done in a spirit of fun and frolic!

QUEEN TITANIA'S FAERIE LIGHTSHOW 2011 -- 02:15 While Tartanic rocks in the background, the arena at the Texas Renaissance Festival literally lights up with the 2011 fireworks show dubbed 'Queen Titania's Faerie Lightshow.' The show was considerably different from previous years: due to continuing drought conditions in Texas, the need to control the fireworks -- and the showers of sparks they often generate -- was critical. For that reason, Titania kept the displays CLOSE to the ground while employing laser lights for a very surrealistic effect!
