        Prince of Wales Pub at TRF!!! Even better: on those rare, blustery days in Southeast Texas when the mercury outdoors drops wildly and the cold rains come thundering down, inside the Pub gets downright warm and cozy -- toasty, even! -- as the playtrons pack themselves in. Add in some great musical entertainment, a bit of real Old World atmosphere -- the earthen floor and the bare ceiling beams overhead are a very nice touch, for example -- and the new Prince of Wales Pub is now definitely the best place onsite to kick back, rest and relax between forays outside!







        Faerie perch (Photo, Right): Aviana really loves the ambience -- and the air-conditioning! -- in the new Prince of Wales Pub at TRF. As an extra incentive to visit the pub, there were some outstanding musicians performing there throughout the day: Lord Sturm and Jim Hancock AKA "The Burly Minstrel" among others. Our favorites were the Shantyman (AKA Gregg Csikos of The Corsairs) who played every faire afternoon at 4pm, followed by the Pub Sing at 4:30pm. Ah: cold drinks, cool air, hot music and the best of company -- what a wonderful combination on faire day, whatever the weather!












        Aviana enjoys a most refreshing bottle of Coca-Cola(tm) on a hot and humid day at TRF (Photo, Right: note the daintly-raised pinkie as she takes a sip from her drink. While Air Faeries certainly do know all the nuances of etiquette, usually they aren't so formal about it -- especially in a pub setting. Obviously, Aviana was feeling slightly mischevious when she suggested this series of portraits!)
