        TWISTED BLADES AT SMWF 2009 -- 0:59
Two swordswomen of the "Twisted Blades School of Stage Combat" demonstrated the art of foil-and-cape dueling during a performance at Scarlet's Mid-Winter Festival 2009. Not only did they have some great moves, but they also had "Instant Replay" as a feature of their demonstration!

"Steel the Show," a stage-combat troupe with drama, presented their own version of "Romeo & Juliet" at Scarlet's Mid-Winter Festival 2009. Naturally, there was a LOT more swordfighting than even The Bard choreographed for the original -- and the two lovers managed to stay alive and live happily ever after together!

An honorary member of "The Ladies of the Salty Kiss" provides a dramatic reading of "Pirate Poetry" to an enraptured audience during Scarlet's Mid-Winter Festival 2009. The poems ranged from the tragic to the humorous, but they all captured aspects of a freebooter's life right well!

Domenico, the Lady Rhiannon's friend from school, took on a female swordfighter at the Boffer Sword Booth during Scarlet's Mid-Winter Festival in 2009. Notice that Domenico is proficient with both hands, easily switching off his weapon during the fight!
