COSTUMES AND CHARACTERS

I couldn't tell if this Roman centurion just took a wrong turn at the Coliseum -- or if he was a member of an official Latin embassy to the King's Court at Scarborough. Either way, he certainly stood out in the crowd!

The Green Man made an unannounced appearance near the King's Pavilion this day, startling many visitors whenever he suddenly came to "life"! Unfortunately, there's nothing to indicate the true scale here, but he stood at least twelve feet high. A group of barbarians nearby were all for cutting him down for firewood, brandishing axes and calling out with considerable bravado -- until he turned and headed in their direction. Then it was downright funny to see them all turn tail and run, with a TREE in hot pursuit!
