ISIS AND THE STAR DANCERS

Round and round and round they go! Isis and the Stardancers have been a regular feature of Scarborough for many years, now. Still, they never fail to entertain their audience -- AND they have drums!!!

Not all of their routines are fast. Here, they launch into a slow shimmy which was a marvel to view, indeed!

        Shake, shake, shake!
        Shake, shake, shake!
But their best moments are during the fast numbers!

Sword dancing: now each of the young ladies carries a sword precariously perched on her head! To demonstrate their exquisite sense of balance, they then proceeded to lie down, almost prone, roll across the stage and then rise once again to their feet -- all without losing their swords. Marvelous!

Isis shows her stuff! Whereas her girls only balanced a single sword on their heads, Isis not only balanced TWO -- but one on each hip, as well!!! An amazing performance, without a doubt...
and one well worth seeing again and again!
