        "Amira's Canvas Casbah" provided bellydancing entertainment throughout the day at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival in 2009. Seven different troupes performed, starting at 10pm and running right up to closing!





        SCALLYWAGS AT GREAT PLAINS 2009 -- 05:00
        "The Scallywags: Raw and Uncensored" could well be the title of The Scallywags' "Adult" show at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival. This clip captures the first five minutes of their "Pirate Dating Game" skit -- it went downhill from there!




        SAMURAI SWORDFIGHTING AT GREAT PLAINS 2009 -- 05:33
        Two members of a local Wichita dojo demonstrated the art of Samurai Swordfighting during the Great Plains Renaissance Festival in 2009. The performance was quite educational, demonstrating techniques that were completely new to Ryleh's experience.





        JAPANESE STAFF-FIGHTING AT GREAT PLAINS 2009 -- 00:46
        One of the more unusual performances at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival was this demonstration of Japanese Staff-Fighting techniques. It was quite impressive -- and far too brief for Ryleh's taste!




        AFTERNOON PARADE AT GREAT PLAINS 2009 -- 02:50
        Every day at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival, Their Majesties, Their Royal Court and the Royal Guard stepped out for a Grand Procession of the entire faire, led off by the Saltire Pipers. Ryleh had to scramble, but he was about to capture most of the parade as they made the circuit from the Royal Pavilion and back again.





        "LAST HUZZAH!" AT GREAT PLAINS 2009 -- 01:23
        Members of "The Musical Blades" and "The Scallywags" combine to entertain the Royal Court, Their Royal Majesties and a large thong of fairegoers at "The Last Huzzah!" held on the Pirate Stage at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival in Wichita. The "Huzzah!" is a great way to end the faire day with lots of music, dancing and song.




        LAST PARADE AT GREAT PLAINS 2009 -- 00:55
        Following "The Last Huzzah!" on the Pirate Stage, Their Majesties, Their Royal Court and the cast of the Great Plains Renaissance Festival parade past "The Seawolf" on their way to the Main Gate at the end of day.
