MYTHOS SOUND FILES

INVOCATION TO YOG-SOTHOTH -- Wilbur Whateley reads aloud from the Necronomicon while pursuing eldritch research at the Miskatonic University Library in the Lovecraft-inspired movie, "The Dunwich Horror." He really gets into the invocation -- until Prof. Armitage interupts him, rudely.

A MI-GO CHANTING -- hear the alien sounds as an inhabitant of Yuggoth chants the lines "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." This file was created from an online voice synthesizer which, alas, is no longer available to the public.

RAISING THE DEAD -- From the Mythos-based movie "The Strange Case of Charles Dexter Ward," an investigator reads aloud the passage describing the creation and usage of "essential saltes." Delivery is somewhat slow and halting, as the investigator has to translate the archaic English as he goes.

SUMMONING YOG-SOTHOTH -- Wilbur Whateley invokes Yog-Sothoth during the climactic ending of the Mythos-inspired movie, "The Dunwich Horror." This file is a variant of the "Invocation to Yog-Sothoth," above. The few bits and pieces of Mythos lore which did appear in this movie did little to disguise the liberties which were freely taken with the original story.
